I haven't posted in so long it's actually

Chaz Bundick was once the lead singer of the band

The Heist and The Accomplice but has now gone solo

with Toro y moi and has done a superb job at it.

His songs are nothing but amazing and although some

appeal more to me than others, below would have

to be my top three favourites. The pictures above

pretty much explain the best way to listen to

these songs. It worked well for me whilst lying on

warm carpet with my macbook plugged into surround

sound speakers and dimmed lights. His calm voice

against the chilled beats and smooth synths really

deliver an incredibly soothing track. These songs

honestly had the power to doze me off into a light

sleep and clear away all my worries. Just like he

has shown the perfect example of dreamin' on the

grass above...

Okay so apparently it's healthy to express your

feelings, emotions, etc. This is my blog after all

and I should be typing away my emotional baggage

and posting it to the world for some sort of inner

self relief, so here goes.

It's proven, some of us are diagnosed with a

serious case of indecisiveness and I am just

another one if it's patients.

I think it's evident to say that a single day

doesn't go by where we don't make millions of

decisions. Think about it, your alarm goes off

in the morning and you rapidly decide whether or

not jump out of bed or to press snooze and continue

to lay there with your face in the pillow. These

types of decisions we make without evening

noticing, we choose what we prefer in a less than

a second. However there are things that take more

than seconds to decide on. For instance, "What

should I wear to the that party?" Even things like

skipping school, buying a tee, throwing out cards

or calling up someone. These things may take a

little more time to decide on but in the end we

are still able easily choose an option and stick

by it.

But what if there are things we can't actually

decide on? There are times when we have no idea

how to come to a conclusion and as for me I'm stuck

in these situations way to often. I feel the need

to casually walk into my kitchen grab the nearest

pot and bang some sense into my head but

unfortunately I know that even if I tried this I

would lay there seeing stars left with nothing but

an ugly lump on my head. Although I do wish it was

as simple as pouring the answers into my brain,

like Hogwarts and it's magical spells. Imagine if

'Decision-o-rama' was actually some sort of potion

where it would give me the power to choose X over

Y in a flash. That would honestly make my life a

hell lot easier. But that isn't the case.

There are way to many facts to take into

consideration while making a decision and usually

they involve other people. For example: What are

they feeling, What are they thinking, What do they

want, Who am I affecting, Is it beneficial for me

and them, Is the timing right, How long will it

last, Will it be worth it, Is it right or wrong?

You see now it's not just about me and my wants

anymore it's taken to a whole notha level.

But seriously, I don't even think it's

mentally possible to satisfy that many questions

with the right answer. If you can then you are a

genius who has unlocked the key to a perfect

decision with no regrets. Yet I lack this ability

and I'm filled with a fear. Powerless, stuck,

glued and unsure of what to do. If I carry on

like this I'll definitely provide myself or

somebody with some sort of psychological effect.

So snap! It is time I get given these skills, I

want them, I need them now. Fix my head & heart

filled with countless emotions that are

waiting to be answered.

harmonies in the lah lah lah section are so warm

and care free, then it drops into that beautiful

think the song is quite gothic and proggy, which

heard them from this track Mama Used To Say and

grew an instant love for it, with her cute voice

singing lyrics I can relate to and of course the

enjoyable synth sounds!

Seinfeld Theme song all over again haha! only

because it has been remixed by Shook who has made

it much more preferable than the original. Her

voice fits in a heap better and everything else

added has made it so much more funky!

This song is a track from Chew Lips that Jupiter

have remixed it's quite and upbeat and fun song.

Although I'm not sure whether I like this one or

the original as it's a bit more slower. The video

for the orig is pretty quirky, I love the drawings

and how they move around and link up to something.

It's quite creative and gets me thinking about

what in the hell it all means...

Last off, Jupiter has grabbed the track Nightdrive

With You by ANORAAK and remixed it. It is probably

my favourite out of the bunch we have here. It's

much more chilled and laid back with a range of

good sound effects. On top of that is his darling

voice and real sweet lyrics.

Well technically summer is around the corner and

The xx have remixed 'You've Got The Love' what more

could you ask for! The original is much more high

pitch and I easily prefer The xx vocals. To be

honest I'm once again speechless by how amazingly

soothing their voices are. This video is from

Florence's original version, I mean I like the

stars intro and the moon prop, fake clouds and

balloons effect but the rest of the people just

freak me out (not a fan at all). Anyway The xx

have succeed once again and I continue to be

impressed :)

'Rabbit ♥' is such an uplifting song! It starts

off with soft little asian dingding sounds and

suddenly her voice just shines through with the

perfect amount of energy, it's so calming but

relieving at the same time. Forgot to mention

how wonderlandish the video is as they try to

tell a story with people prancing around like

wild little rabbits... just brillaint.

I cannot believe this is my first ever post

of Chromeo. Needy Girl, Tenderoni, Momma's Boy,

100%, Call Me Up, Fancy Footwork, Outta Sight...

Wow come to think of it every single song they

made was amazing. Romantic grooving masters,

Dave 1 and P-thug have hit it off with their

song Night By Night. The original has a sort of

'eye of the tiger' in a battle ring/guitar feel

hahaha and i wasn't completely in love until

i found a remix done by Skream that has a more

laid back beat to it... It just sets a way

better mood and Daves melting voice is easier

to enjoy. They were, they are & they always be

my mighty favourite.

Did they just fly in from space? because i swear this band just came out of nowhere, or i just simply discovered them a bit late!

Romy, Oliver, Baria and Jamie are who make up this awesome foursome 'indie' soul post punk slow jamming new wave uhhh i actually have no idea what genre they fall under haha! Though what i do know is i've grown an instant love for these little London geeks. Their music is the sort that you lay on the floor and sing along with. Maybe just the type you bop your head slowly too or just simply stand there swaying to the guitar sounds like you're a made of jelly (aeroplane jelly...mmmmm) Anyway so their album is called XX (wouldn't have guessed that! haha)

So here are some songs from the album that make me la di da! Oh and the song teardrops they totally stole but hey that's okay because they gave it their own little vibe and it's even a little touching (awww)

The original was done by YACHT called Psychic City but CLASSIXX have done a remix of it and it's s-s-s-s-superb! These guys are my fav they always make their remix of a song so much better then the orig. They give you the feeling like your sleeping on a cloud or falling from the sky really slowly with the warm wind blowing in your hair, weeeeeeeeeee. The lyrics on the track are tip top, I really do love it, love it :)

So basically everyday of our lives we all play "dress ups" with our hands and arms with rings, watches, bangles, bracelets, gloves, shoe laces etc. And of course our feet and legs with socks, shoes, stockings, anklets etc.

But has it ever occurred to you that there might be a new trend in town?

It goes by the deadly name... SUICIDE! It's estimated that around 1 million people commit suicide every year worldwide! Dude what the hell is this world coming to?

To all proper "emo's" & "goths" who think this is the latest craze, IT'S NOT! If you think slitting your wrists and slicing up your body is what's down then you're falling into one massive devil trap, consider getting... wait don't even consider, YOU NEED TO GET HELP! I'd advise you to start drinking some red bull it's believed to give you wings! Now that's a good start to an angle face.

As for me cuts and blood sure aren't an accessory and if I ever have any which is almost everyday... they are simply all because I'm super clumsy!

Nobody is going to love you more if they find you half dead! So here you go attention seeker you might as well go paint your arms with red paint if you really like the whole 'bloody' look. It's a better alternative... no pain, no harm, no tears, no fears and it even comes in a variety of different colours woo!

Lisa Mitchell is her name and believe it or not she's only 18 years old! She set off with her lovely talent by playing the guitar when she was 12, there she formed a love for rock and folk. She was also in a band called Chrome (no adele not Chromeo haha) and they started off playing at local cafe's. Then when she turned 16 she auditioned for Aussie Idle! And again another Ripley's believe it or not moment... the judges were blown away..."She is the best thing musically that has ever came out of this country." Round of applause for her hey!!!
Anyway....This song is so catchy and floaty it's just brilliant! Her voice is so quirky too it's perfect for the style of the song. I love the setting, the whole invisible thing she's got going on, the bird cages and the hanging bottles. Her face is like a porcelain doll I'm very fond of those freckles too :)

JEANS IN OUR GENES?

I am seriously convinced that way more than half of the worlds population wear jeans every single day of their lives. I wake up in the morning and people at home are wearing jeans. I walk down the street what do i see? jeans! On the bus, jeans! At the shops, jeans! On the train, jeans! At the supermarket, jeans! At the cinemas, jeans! In the garden, jeans! At a club, jeans! On the toilet, you guessed it, JEANS! Day or night jeans are basically everywhere! Seriously we might as well just sleep in them or consider them apart of the family. They are simply out doing every other garment of clothing. A bit like asians invading our country, though it is occurring in the world of clothes with jeans ahaha. Anyway I'm not against them at all I'm just trying to prove a point that us humans rely on this magnificent material named JEAN!

Okay so the creators of Paris, Jump in the Pool and Skeleton Boy have recently released a song called 'Kiss Of Life'. The other three songs were awesome and so were the vocals and lyrics on all of them, especially Paris. Though the remix of that song by Aeroplane is way better then the original. It's one of a few songs that really make me feel like I'm swimming through clouds aaa. Anyway Kiss of Life is a bit different and at first it was odd to get use to the little bongos but now I'm in love with it! Check out his little dance moves too, what a little groover. Oh and his eyes are simply wow, the ocean and sky in the background definitely have some competition haha ooooo he's so devine....

Well these 'classy' boys use to be called the Young Americans! But I much prefer their name now as the classixx, it really suits their style of music too. Their song 'I'll get you' has to be my absolute fav of theirs and cannot forget their little remixes of 'Lisztomania' & 'I will come back'. But something different that I came across from these two fabulous guys was an extremely old track they made but don't think they released it. Such a shame 'cos it's so smooth and chilling once you get into it! So go have a listen!
